Our Facility

Kernersville Rehab Specialists opened for business in July 2003. The facility utilizes a massive 4400 square feet of space, yet maintains the friendly feel of a small town office. Our unique setting allows us to provide convenient access to specialized therapies not available in most facilities, such as a full-sized onsitepool for Aquatic therapy in conjunction with other therapy programs. Our gym is outfitted with a complete, high performance line of equipment. Treatments utilizing numerous modalities are available with state of the art medical therapy devices.

We also recognize the crucial importance of the relationship between the therapist and patient. No amount of equipment alone can substitute for high quality personal care. KRS has dedicated, professional, caring staff who quickly get to know you by name and take a personal interest in your rehab process. Your success is our success.

For continuity of care, you can schedule with the same therapist each session. KRS offers extended hours and same day or next day appointment scheduling to prevent delays in you receiving the therapy services you need.

As an independent, locally owned family business, we are a part of the community we serve. If we did not maintain the quality of care and expertise our referring physicians, practitioners, and patients expect of us, our facility would not continue to exist.

KRS accepts patients by physician/practitioner prescription referrals, or by patient choice. In North Carolina, a prescription is not needed to be evaluated for services and therapy*. Additionally, you always have the right to choose where you go to receive your rehab therapy. Many of our patients have specifically chosen to come to KRS because of our high patient satisfaction scores, our emphasis on therapeutic results for demonstrating the success of our services, and the recommendations of our previous patients, and their family or friends.

*(Medicare and some other insurance companies may require a prescription for the services to be reimbursed by insurance--you can check with your insurance company for determination).
